What's in it
Conditions work worldwide. NOAA tide predictions, National Weather Service warnings and NOAA charts cover US waters.
Wind and weather
Wind and gusts, rain, air pressure and the last hour of radar, with the 6 hour pressure trend in Fishing, Boating and Sailing. In the US, National Weather Service warnings show on the day and cap its rating.
Swell and waves
Near the coast the headline is a shore break estimate, with the offshore height and period under it. Up to three swells and the local chop, hour by hour.
Tides and currents
A tide curve with the next high and low, from NOAA predictions near US stations and a global tide model elsewhere. Dive modes add the regional drift in knots and the next slack.
Water temperature, sun and moon
Sea surface temperature with the air temperature under it, plus sunrise and sunset. Fishing and dive modes also show the moon phase.
Charts and depth
NOAA nautical charts with soundings in US waters, and a bathymetry layer that shows depth worldwide.
Reefs and wrecks
Mapped reefs, wrecks, obstructions, dive sites and platforms, each with the bottom depth beside it (an estimate where no source reports one) and the conditions at the site.
Bite score
A 0 to 10 score for how likely fish are to be feeding at your spot that hour. It weighs light, moonlight, how fast the tide is moving, water temperature extremes, wind and waves. It shows on Today in Fishing mode and at freshwater spots, and the bite map layer is Pro.

Species recorded near your spot, with photos. Size and bag limits for California and Florida, plus federal rules for Atlantic highly migratory species like tuna, billfish and sharks. Rules show when the app can match your pin to a place in the US, so a pin out on an offshore reef may get none.
Live cams
Live cams and NOAA buoy cam stills within 50 miles of your spot, when there's one in range. The pins on the map are free and playback is Pro.

More than 380,000 mapped reefs, wrecks, obstructions, dive sites and platforms in one layer. They come from NOAA nautical charts, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission artificial reefs, Bureau of Ocean Energy Management platforms in the Gulf of Mexico, OpenStreetMap and a global wreck list drawn from Wikipedia. Coverage is dense in US waters and thinner elsewhere, where some positions are rough.
Tap one for the bottom depth beside it (labelled as an estimate when no source reports one), the least depth over the structure where a chart sounding exists, relief where a source gives it, how many sources agree, the distance from shore and the conditions at the site. Set it as your location, or sign in to pin it to your spots or share it.
Reefs and wrecks is a Pro map layer, and it's saved inside Pro offline areas. Anyone you share a structure with can open it for 12 hours.

Your mode reorders the screen so what matters for that activity comes first, and the 0 to 10 rating is scored for it. Add how you get out there (boat, sail, kayak or SUP) and the day is rated on the weaker of the two. Thunderstorm hours and active US weather warnings cap the rating in every mode.
Safety tools are free
There's no Pro gate on any of it.
Safety Watch
File a plan with a "back by" time and pick who watches. If you don't check in, our server alerts them, by push if they have the app and by email if they don't, even when your phone is dead or out of signal.
SOS goes to your contacts after a 5 second cancel window. While a plan is running, the app sends your surface position every 5 minutes as long as it's on screen. Safety Watch needs a free account, and it alerts the people you pick, never the authorities.
Shark awareness
When Spearfishing is your mode, Today shows the shark species recorded in the area in the Ocean Biodiversity Information System (OBIS), labelled as awareness, not live. It also lists community sightings within 50 km from the last 48 hours.
Signed in users can report a sighting, and app users within 25 km get a push.
Conditions by spot
Spots along the US coast each have a page with that spot's conditions. Browse diving, spearfishing and fishing spots, or start with Laguna Beach dive conditions, La Jolla diving conditions, Montauk spearfishing, Oahu spearfishing, Bodega Bay fishing and Maui fishing.

Monthly and yearly each come with a 7 day free trial for new subscribers. Prices are in US dollars and differ by country.
